Leading Tennessee tooling and machining companies have been affiliated with the NTMA as individual companies since 1952. In 1966, the Nashville Chapter was formed as a federated chapter of the national association. That same year, Fred D. Wright was elected as the National Chairman of the NTMA, twenty-seven years later, in 1993, another Nashville Chapter member, D. Raymond Kennedy, was elected to this prestigious position.  In 2009, the membership elected to rename and refocus the Nashville Chapter as the Tennessee Chapter of the NTMA, representing tooling and machining companies statewide.

Today, the Tennessee Chapter consists of approximately thirty companies in the tooling and machining industry, and is a part of a group of more than twelve hundred companies nationwide that make up the National Tooling and Machining Association. A complete listing of the NTMA Tennessee member companies is available on this Web site.

For more information on the benefits of membership, please contact our national membership director, Jeff Walmsley, at 1-800-248-NTMA.
